Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Illinois SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP procedures and progress documentation
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities
- Competence in administering a variety of standardized assessments
- Adaptability to work with diverse student populations and needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for individual students
- Develop evidence-based, individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families
- Document student progress and maintain timely, accurate records
- Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility discussions, and multidisciplinary team sessions
- Attend professional development sessions as required
