A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at a school setting in Joliet, Illinois. This role involves working directly with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, supporting their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student goals and outcomes.
- Provide therapy sessions, both individual and group, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong understanding of various speech and language disorders.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
