Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Georgia teaching certificate
- SLP-CCC or eligibility, or completion of SLP-CFY
- Experience in pediatric, healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
- Strong skills in completing speech therapy evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing individualized interventions
- Proficiency with Medicaid billing documentation and related reporting
- Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to a diverse student population across a caseload of about 55
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
- Participate in meetings with staff and families to review student needs, set goals, and share progress reports
- Maintain accurate and timely Medicaid billing documentation and submit required reports
- Use evidence-based practices to develop and implement therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
- Integrate digital and teletherapy tools, as appropriate, to enhance service delivery
This full-time contract position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and requires coverage five days a week, ensuring consistency and reliability for each student you support.
