Qualifications:

  • Valid certification as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Georgia teaching certificate
  • SLP-CCC or eligibility, or completion of SLP-CFY
  • Experience in pediatric, healthcare, school, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in completing speech therapy evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing individualized interventions
  • Proficiency with Medicaid billing documentation and related reporting
  • Able to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to a diverse student population across a caseload of about 55
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, create individualized education plans (IEPs), and document progress
  • Participate in meetings with staff and families to review student needs, set goals, and share progress reports
  • Maintain accurate and timely Medicaid billing documentation and submit required reports
  • Use evidence-based practices to develop and implement therapy sessions tailored to students’ needs
  • Integrate digital and teletherapy tools, as appropriate, to enhance service delivery

This full-time contract position is scheduled for 40 hours per week and requires coverage five days a week, ensuring consistency and reliability for each student you support.
