Make a difference in the lives of students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) working in a supportive school environment. This opportunity runs from January 4th through May 24th, providing services to a caseload of approximately 50 students. Full-time schedules are available (35 hours per week), though part-time applicants will also be considered. SLPA candidates are welcomed to apply as well.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC required)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Comfortable managing caseloads around 50 students
- Willingness to work collaboratively with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to support student success
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings
- Educate and provide resources to families and school personnel regarding student needs
