Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
  • Valid SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Missouri
  • Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop tailored treatment plans and implement best practices
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Team-oriented approach, valuing collaboration with educators, families, and support staff

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, or communication disorders in students

  • Provide direct therapy and intervention to students with diverse needs
  • Document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and school staff to support communication goals
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations
  • Offer expertise and resources to help foster communicative success in the classroom
