A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025–2026 school year in a K-12 school located in Jordan, NY. This contract role primarily serves elementary students, with some high school students included, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to the academic and social success of children through specialized speech and language services.

Role Overview: The SLP will manage a caseload of approximately 28 students, delivering comprehensive assessment and individualized therapy. Collaboration with educators, families, and school staff is essential to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed speech and language evaluations to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy plans based on individual assessments
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy aligned with student goals
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate accommodations and classroom strategies
  • Monitor progress and adjust interventions to maximize student outcomes
  • Participate actively in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and goal setting
  • Offer guidance and support to parents and caregivers for continuity of care

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Knowledge of IEP procedures and compliance with educational laws

Schedule and Benefits:
