School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Jordan, New York

A rewarding opportunity awaits a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist skilled in supporting school-aged learners. For the 2025–2026 academic year, you’ll serve a diverse caseload of approximately 28 students—primarily elementary, with some high schoolers—in a collaborative, supportive K-12 setting. This contract role spans September through June and is ideal for clinicians passionate about fostering communication and academic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for assigned students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings
• Deliver direct therapy sessions tailored to a range of communication needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers and school staff to recommend and help put accommodations in place
• Track student progress and revise intervention strategies when necessary
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and guidance on goal setting
• Partner with families to share progress and advise on home support strategies

Qualifications Sought:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license, or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience with school-aged children preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and relevant educational laws
