A rewarding contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2025–2026 academic year, supporting primarily elementary students, with some high school involvement. The role is based within a K-12 school and focuses on nurturing communication skills to foster student growth and inclusion. You'll manage a manageable caseload of around 28 students, providing direct therapy and collaborating with educators and families to make a substantial impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement effective classroom accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor student progress, documenting and adjusting interventions as necessary
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and crafting goals
  • Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers to aid student progress

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible state SLP license
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with the IEP process and educational regulations
