Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold an active California SLP credential
- Possess ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience providing school-based speech-language services—preferably a few years in a similar educational setting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions to students in PreK through 8th grades
- Conduct speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student goals and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings by offering clinical insights and supporting goal development
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation and ethical requirements
- Develop engaging therapy activities tailored to students’ developmental levels and needs
