Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold an active California SLP credential
  • Possess ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Previous experience providing school-based speech-language services—preferably a few years in a similar educational setting
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions to students in PreK through 8th grades
  • Conduct speech and language assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to support student goals and participation
  • Participate in IEP meetings by offering clinical insights and supporting goal development
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation and ethical requirements
  • Develop engaging therapy activities tailored to students’ developmental levels and needs
