Speech Language Pathologist in Junction City, OR

Step into a rewarding contract role serving diverse students across two high schools and one elementary program, from September 8, 2026, to June 17, 2027. This full-time opportunity offers a dynamic split schedule—spending half the week at Westmoreland, supporting primarily special education students, and the other half at Lane, focusing on social skill development. You’ll be joining a robust support network, working independently but benefiting from regular collaboration with a thriving SLP team, special education professionals, and paraprofessionals.

The caseload centers on providing life skills programming for approximately 33 students. While prior experience with AAC or feeding and swallowing (safe eating) is appreciated, comprehensive training will be provided if needed. Your expertise, warmth, and adaptability will shine as you help shape communication and functional skills for students with varied abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Active SLP license with CCC and school-based SLP experience preferred
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn AAC, feeding, and safe swallowing strategies
• Passion for serving students with diverse needs in education settings
• Clear communication and collaboration skills for working with staff, students, and families
• Flexibility to split time between multiple campuses and adapt to changing needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy to students in life skills and social communication programs
• Implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Participate in team meetings, collaborate on strategies, and document progress
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive school environment
• Stay connected with a large SLP team for resources and ongoing mentorship
