Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Junction City, OR

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year! This full-time, in-person assignment supports students across elementary and high school levels within a welcoming educational setting. You'll be working closely with a diverse K-12 caseload, described as manageable, with low incidence of behavioral concerns—making it an ideal fit for professionals who appreciate impactful yet balanced work.

Duties will include serving multiple school buildings, collaborating with educators, and providing critical speech and language services to support student learning and communication growth. There are no virtual or hybrid options for this position, as an on-site presence is required to foster hands-on support and engagement.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current, active SLP license required to practice in Oregon
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Experience delivering SLP interventions in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and related documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Familiarity with K-12 student needs across multiple grade levels

Role Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for students with speech and language needs
• Manage IEP documentation and participate in multidisciplinary meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
• Adapt and tailor interventions for individual students
• Maintain timely and accurate records
• Travel between school buildings as needed within the district

The position offers a full-time weekly schedule of approximately 37.5 to 40 hours, providing the opportunity to make a significant difference in students’ lives.
