Step into a fulfilling role supporting preschool through 6th grade students for the 2026-2027 school year as a contract Speech Language Pathologist. Working closely with the Director of Special Education, you’ll provide in-person, full-time services to help students reach their communication goals in an engaging, school-based environment. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows seeking hands-on, impactful work with a supportive multidisciplinary team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Current Washington state SLP license
  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations—schools experience strongly preferred
  • Commitment to serving students with special education needs and supporting their families
  • Skills in assessment, evaluation, and consultation, including all phases of special education processes
  • Expertise in building positive relationships with staff, families, and community partners
  • Willingness to infuse your caseload with creativity, humor, and positivity
  • Aptitude for effective communication and collaboration across teams
  • Special consideration for experience in early learning or working with atypical impairments

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language assessments and develop tailored intervention plans
  • Direct and consultative service delivery for students’ IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student progress
  • Maintain compliant documentation and contribute to eligibility determinations
  • Implement effective screening and identification strategies for speech and language needs
