Step into an impactful role serving students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic, hybrid setting. With a .75 FTE schedule (28 hours per week), this full school year opportunity balances meaningful, in-person interactions with the flexibility of remote work: spend one day onsite with students and colleagues, and three days working from the comfort of your home.
In this position, you will:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services in a school-based environment, supporting students’ communication skills and academic success.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to plan and implement individualized interventions and monitor progress.
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school guidelines.
- Engage in IEP meetings and provide expert input on student needs and progress.
- Offer resources and strategies to teachers and families, promoting inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) from ASHA.
- Active state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with virtual service delivery platforms and comfort utilizing technology in a hybrid role.
