Step into a rewarding contract assignment supporting elementary students with varying needs in an inclusive educational environment. This full-time, onsite opportunity runs from November 16, 2026, through January 29, 2027, covering a maternity leave. You’ll work with a diverse caseload, focusing on both resource program students and those in the RISE program, serving approximately 50 students with a range of moderate disabilities.

Leverage your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required) in a collaborative, highly supportive school setting. You’ll be part of a team committed to helping each student achieve their communication and academic goals.

What you’ll bring:

  • Active Washington SLP License and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous school-based experience, especially in elementary settings
  • Experience working with a range of disabilities, including moderate and diverse needs
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to craft and implement effective IEPs
  • Timely and thorough documentation skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students per IEPs
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Develop and update IEP goals, participate in meetings, and maintain compliant records
  • Support communication needs for both resource and RISE program students
  • Engage in team meetings and provide recommendations for classroom strategies
