Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with preschoolers ages 3-5 in a dedicated early childhood special education setting. Assignment dates run from August 31, 2026, through June 6, 2027, with onboarding required before the start. This full-time position offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week within the school day, from 8:44am to 3:50pm, serving three preschool classrooms. You'll be responsible for a manageable caseload of 25-29 students, collaborating closely with educators and support staff to provide high-quality speech and language services.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong SLP Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
  • Experience in school, pediatric, or early childhood settings
  • Comfort and experience with IEP development and therapy documentation
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms (a plus)
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and time management skills
  • Compassionate, child-centered approach

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans
  • Delivering direct and group speech-language therapy to preschool-aged students
  • Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and families to support student growth
  • Participating in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
