What We're Seeking:

  • Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist license in North Carolina (NC SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) is required
  • Experience within educational or school-based settings is essential
  • Proficiency with ECATS (Education Casework Application and Tracking System)
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
  • Current experience and knowledge of IEP processes and documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language assessments, therapy, and interventions to students
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
  • Maintain timely, thorough, and confidential documentation in compliance with all school, state, and federal guidelines
  • Consult with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student progress
  • Utilize digital systems for case management and communication
  • Ensure services are provided with cultural competence and sensitivity
  • Attend scheduled meetings and collaborate proactively with school and district personnel
