Licensed Elementary School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Kannapolis, North Carolina

Required qualifications:

• Current and active SLP-CCC license
• Certification to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working in elementary school settings strongly preferred
• Familiarity with school-based therapy models and IEP processes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for encouraging student growth and advocating for communication needs

Role responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary-aged students
• Assess student abilities, identify speech and language disorders, and develop individual treatment plans
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the documentation and review process
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes for all services delivered
• Offer support, resources, and consultation to staff and parents as needed
