Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current licensure or eligibility as an SLP within the state.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
  • Previous experience in a K-12 school environment highly valued.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, families, and other specialists.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload in accordance with IEP goals and school protocols.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education plans.
  • Conduct assessments, document progress, and maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily academic activities.
  • Offer expertise and support to students throughout the duration of the school year; candidates also considered for end-of-year assignments if available.
