What you bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP state licensure (or eligibility for fast-track licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Compassion and enthusiasm for supporting children and adolescents
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct and consultative speech, language, and communication therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and implement evidence-based therapy protocols
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to set IEP goals and track student progress
- Maintain thorough documentation and timely reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings to discuss student needs and offer guidance on evidence-based communication strategies
- Facilitate communication and learning for students with a variety of speech and language challenges
