Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Current state licensure (Kansas) or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual student needs and school settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans and IEP goals in collaboration with educators and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and ongoing progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an integral member of the student support team
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and staff regarding effective communication strategies in the classroom
- Support continuity of care as you provide seamless coverage during the FMLA absences of two SLP colleagues
