This maternity leave coverage runs from August 17th, 2026, through September 4th, 2026, working full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9am - 4:40pm). You'll have the chance to work closely with students in an autism program at a respected elementary campus, contributing your expertise to a meaningful environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
  • Demonstrated skill supporting students with autism is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy, both one-on-one and in small groups, serving students with autism
  • Conduct assessments and evaluate student progress, maintaining thorough documentation
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Adapt and modify therapy techniques to best meet students’ evolving needs
  • Engage in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
