Take on a rewarding assignment supporting students in a vibrant elementary school setting located near Kansas City, MO. This full-time, contract opportunity covers a maternity leave from August 17, 2026, through November 9, 2026. As an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll provide valuable services to a resource-level caseload, collaborating with a dedicated educational team to help students achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Prior experience working in school-based SLP positions highly valued
  • Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for school-aged children
  • Familiarity with IEP planning, implementation, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students at the resource level
  • Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with communication needs
  • Develop and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
  • Contribute to a positive, student-centered atmosphere onsite
