Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Experience providing speech-language therapy in a school setting preferred
- Strong clinical skills for developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Compassionate communicator with a student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to high school students
- Conduct assessments, create comprehensive intervention plans, and document progress
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Engage actively with faculty and parents to ensure optimal outcomes for students
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Foster an inclusive environment that encourages every student’s growth and success
