This full-time opportunity runs from August 25, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a rewarding experience working across multiple campuses within the district.
You'll enjoy a structured weekday schedule, working on-site from 9:00 am to 4:40 pm, Monday through Friday. Your primary focus will be serving Liberty High School for three days each week, working with innovative classrooms designed to meet the needs of approximately 11 students in specialized programs. The remainder of your schedule will be dedicated to providing crucial overflow support at Heritage Middle School and potentially one additional school, giving you variety and the chance to impact diverse learning environments.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based SLP experience preferred
- Comfort and adaptability working in both high school and middle school settings
- Engaging communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supporting students with a range of speech and language needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students in special education and general setting classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster student growth
- Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
