Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current or eligibility for state SLP licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will be considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Proficiency in administering assessments, creating and implementing IEPs, and delivering evidence-based therapy
- Effective communication skills and collaborative spirit
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities through standardized tools and observations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEPs
- Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in small groups
- Consult regularly with educators, support staff, and families to foster student progress
- Document and report on student performance, maintaining all required records
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and team consultations
- Provide guidance to teachers and parents on classroom accommodations and language-rich strategies
