Multiple openings are available for driven professionals dedicated to helping students thrive throughout the full academic year. This contract, on-site role is ideal for those excited about travel and making a meaningful impact while working alongside a very supportive team. Qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are also encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders (for SLP/SLP-CCC/SLP-CFY)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as required by Alaska
  • Will consider SLPAs with relevant certification and experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with student populations
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Flexibility to serve one of several areas within the region (Southern Peninsula, Central Peninsula, and Eastern Peninsula)
  • On-site availability for the entire school year
  • Not open to teletherapy/VOCO arrangements

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and participate in IEP meetings
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Document services and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with state and district requirements
  • Offer guidance and support to educational staff regarding communication disorders
  • Travel between sites within your assigned region as needed
