Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience with pediatric populations in educational settings
- Familiarity with IEP process and compliance
- Comfortable delivering teletherapy and in-person services as needed
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Dedication to fostering a nurturing, positive learning atmosphere
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and implement interventions for students with varying speech-language needs
- Document progress, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student growth
- Promote inclusive practices and advocate for students within the school community
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting methods to best reach each child
