Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Strong working knowledge of developing and managing IEPs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose a range of speech, language, and swallowing disorders for students in a school-based setting
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans to meet each student’s needs
  • Collaborate regularly with families, other SLPs, OTs, PTs, and SLPAs to ensure integrated and effective care
  • Track and document student progress, modifying strategies as necessary to maximize outcomes
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records according to school and legal requirements
