Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Katy, Texas

A healthcare setting in Katy, TX is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a non-school year (NSY) contract position. This role involves providing speech-language pathology services with opportunities for full-time or part-time work, preferably onsite.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working in school settings is advantageous
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs
• Collaborate with caregivers, families, physical therapists, speech-language pathology assistants, and occupational therapy professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records and documentation
