Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Katy, Texas

This contract position is based near Houston, Texas, offering opportunities to work either onsite full-time or part-time, depending on your availability. As part of a supportive, multidisciplinary educational team, you’ll address communication challenges and help students achieve greater success both in and out of the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain Texas license
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience working in schools is highly valued
• Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
• Understanding of the IEP process and ability to contribute to IEP teams
• Open to both experienced clinicians and Clinical Fellows (CFY); SLPA experience also relevant

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Partner with caregivers, families, and collaborative therapy teams (including PTs, OTs, SLPAs)
• Track and report on student progress
• Maintain comprehensive, accurate documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
