Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Prior experience in schools is advantageous
- Familiarity with AAC devices is desirable
- Solid background in managing and developing IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and a multidisciplinary team—including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs—to ensure coordinated care
- Track, monitor, and document student progress regularly
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and professional standards
