Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain one
- Preferred ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Experience with AAC devices and the IEP process strongly valued
- Prior experience within educational settings is a plus, with knowledge of pediatric populations
- Open to candidates with CFY or SLPA backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs and student needs
- Regularly collaborate with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals, such as SLPAs, PTs, and OTs
- Track progress and adjust interventions as appropriate for student growth and achievement
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
