Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain one
  • Preferred ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience with AAC devices and the IEP process strongly valued
  • Prior experience within educational settings is a plus, with knowledge of pediatric populations
  • Open to candidates with CFY or SLPA backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose a range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEPs and student needs
  • Regularly collaborate with families, caregivers, and fellow professionals, such as SLPAs, PTs, and OTs
  • Track progress and adjust interventions as appropriate for student growth and achievement
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with school and state requirements
