Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active Texas SLP licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience in schools is advantageous
• Familiarity with AAC devices is desirable
• Solid background in managing and developing IEPs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
• Create and execute individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
• Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and a multidisciplinary team—including PTs, SLPAs, and OTs—to ensure coordinated care
• Track, monitor, and document student progress regularly
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in compliance with school and professional standards
