A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available in Katy, TX, located approximately 30 miles west of Houston. This contract role is intended for the current school year (CSY) and offers full-time opportunities, with part-time options considered for candidates holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Multiple openings are available, including for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA), with an immediate need for services at the elementary school level.
Qualified candidates will hold SLP certifications appropriate for school settings and demonstrate experience working with pediatric populations in educational environments. Candidates currently completing their CFY are encouraged to apply, as are those with full CCC credentials. The role requires direct therapy provision; applicants interested in evaluation-only, supervision-only, or administrative tasks such as ARD paperwork will not be considered.
Key Qualifications:
