Step into a dynamic school-based opportunity near Katy, just a short drive west of Houston, with an impactful role supporting students’ communication development. This onsite, contract position is ideal for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) holding either their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status. The position is full time for the 2026-2027 school year, though candidates interested in working 2, 3, or 4 full days per week will also be considered. (Please note: partial days cannot be accommodated.) This role is hands-on, providing both therapy and intervention, rather than assessment or supervision-only duties.

Desired qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and eligibility for Texas licensure
  • CCC or strong CFY applicants encouraged to apply
  • Ongoing or recent experience with pediatric populations
  • Preference given to those with prior public school experience
  • Passion for supporting diverse student needs in a collaborative educational setting
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students ages PreK-12
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments when appropriate and participate in eligibility meetings as a team player
  • Provide coaching and resources to staff and families to generalize skills beyond the therapy room
  • Maintain detailed records and participate in case management
