Speech Language Pathologist in Katy, TX

This flexible contract role, set to begin as soon as possible and extend through late May 2027, offers the chance to work with both elementary and middle school students across 2-3 school sites. While you'll occasionally travel between locations, your home base will be a convenient central office on the west/northwest side of the district.

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Current, active SLP Licensure (ASHA CCC preferred)
• Previous experience in a school setting addressing diverse speech/language needs
• Comfort working with elementary and middle school populations
• Ability to travel between multiple school sites in the district
• Leadership qualities to support and supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop student-centered intervention plans
• Provide direct therapy services onsite and remotely (one remote day/week)
• Collaborate with educational staff and families to support communication goals
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in line with district and legal requirements
• Supervise and mentor assigned SLPA, ensuring program integrity and growth
