Step into an impactful in-person Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role for the 2026-2027 school year and support students’ growth across all grade levels from kindergarten through high school. With the current SLP retiring, this is a unique opportunity to make a difference in a district committed to maintaining manageable caseloads—aiming for 50-60 students per SLP. Multiple positions are available, so you’ll have the choice to work at the elementary, middle, or high school level, each with its own structured schedule.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license for Texas (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working in a K-12 educational setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to provide direct, in-person therapy services customized for diverse student needs
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Dedication to evidence-based interventions and best practices
  • Compassion for student development and growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and manage a caseload averaging 50-60 students
  • Deliver engaging, effective speech therapy to students in grades K-12, depending on placement
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and federal regulations
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based speech-language pathology

Elementary school hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Middle school hours: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
High school hours: 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
