Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Compassionate, student-centered approach
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs across all grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Document and track student progress, maintaining timely and accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to foster student growth and integrate therapy goals into academic settings
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies
- Provide direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in group settings
- Offer consultative support to staff and families to reinforce progress
