Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcome
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Compassionate, student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs across all grade levels
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Document and track student progress, maintaining timely and accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with special education staff, teachers, and families to foster student growth and integrate therapy goals into academic settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy, both individually and in group settings
  • Offer consultative support to staff and families to reinforce progress
