Qualifications and Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience supporting pediatric populations in school-based settings preferred
  • Familiarity with IEPs, goal development, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with educators, support staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Assess students to determine speech and language therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic/social language skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of goals and progress reports
  • Deliver direct therapy services one-on-one and in small groups
  • Consult regularly with teachers, parents, and school teams to maximize student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, attendance, and ongoing progress
