A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to work across two elementary schools for the 2026-2027 academic year, from late August through mid-June. This contract role offers the opportunity to serve a diverse student population with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in Communication Disorders or a closely related field, meeting required educational standards for licensure
- Valid New Hampshire Speech/Language Pathologist license, or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Hands-on clinical experience is required; school-based or relevant experience in communication disorders strongly preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnership with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement remediation strategies fostering student progress and participation in the classroom
- Complete relevant documentation and maintain records according to school and legal guidelines
- Engage proactively with teachers and staff to integrate support strategies into daily classroom environments
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and recommendations
