Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Colorado SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
- Prior experience with school-aged children, especially those with intellectual disabilities, highly valued
- Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices preferred
- Exceptional organization, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt practices to individual student needs
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine speech and language needs
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise and collaborating with educators and families
- Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with team members
- Effectively support diverse learning and communication styles in a center-based setting
- Caseload will be determined during the interview process to ensure the best fit for your strengths and experience
