Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Colorado SLP license and ASHA CCCs (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience with school-aged children, especially those with intellectual disabilities, highly valued
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices preferred
  • Exceptional organization, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt practices to individual student needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments to determine speech and language needs
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing your expertise and collaborating with educators and families
  • Deliver both direct and indirect speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs
  • Document progress, maintain records, and communicate regularly with team members
  • Effectively support diverse learning and communication styles in a center-based setting
  • Caseload will be determined during the interview process to ensure the best fit for your strengths and experience
