Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure as required for school-based SLPs
• Previous experience in a school environment preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Ability to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and document student progress efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders within the school population
• Design and implement effective therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student participation and achievement
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with school and state policies
• Provide consultation and resources to teachers and families to support student success in and out of the classroom
