Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure or eligibility as required for school-based settings
- Prior experience working in K-12 schools or with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in group and one-on-one settings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes for each child
- Maintain comprehensive progress records, complete evaluations, and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current with evolving best practices to ensure high-quality support for students
