A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a maternity leave contract position within an elementary school setting in Keller, TX. This opportunity involves working primarily onsite with a flexible arrangement allowing one day of remote work per week. The role focuses on providing support to a lower caseload of students with moderate to severe speech and language needs between January 1, 2026, and March 7, 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to students with moderate to severe needs.
  • Collaborate with educators and staff to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and student progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to student assessments and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Provide one day per week of remote support as part of the flexible work schedule.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) with a valid CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
  • Experience working as an SLP in a school environment, preferably within an elementary school.
  • Ability to manage a caseload of students requiring moderate to severe intervention.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and professional documentation.

Location:

  • Elementary school located in North Keller, Texas.
