A dynamic K-12 school in Keller, TX is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for a contract position during the current school year. This role primarily involves providing in-person therapy, most likely at an elementary campus, supporting students’ communication skills development.

Key responsibilities include delivering individualized speech therapy, conducting comprehensive evaluations, interpreting assessment results, and crafting detailed reports. The professional will also be responsible for monitoring student progress, collaborating with educators and families, and actively participating in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to ensure tailored educational plans.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or certified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), with experience in school settings
  • Experience providing services in healthcare, pediatrics, teletherapy, or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) completion preferred
  • Proficient in evaluation, report writing, and progress monitoring
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to deliver in-person therapy primarily focused on elementary school-aged children
