Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of IEP development and progress reporting
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and cultural competence
- Ability to provide therapy, screenings, and assessments to a diverse student population
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy for students with a range of needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and participate in eligibility determinations
- Develop, implement, and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress notes as required
- Participate in district and campus-based meetings, professional development, and collaboration initiatives
- Communicate student progress and strategies to caregivers and team members
