Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology support within a thriving K-12 school environment. This on-site position is ideal for SLPs who are passionate about fostering communication skills and academic success among students. You’ll serve a diverse student population, with an anticipated caseload of 60-65 across a single campus. The assignment runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering full-time hours (up to 37.5 per week) throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is highly valued
  • Ability to complete Texas Education Agency fingerprinting prior to start (process can take up to 10 business days)
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Collaborative approach, comfortable engaging with teachers, families, and administrators

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services, assessments, and documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Manage a dynamic K-12 caseload, tailoring interventions to varied developmental needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support teams
  • Provide guidance to staff and collaborate to create accessible learning environments
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and service delivery
  • Serve as a resource for families and staff regarding speech and language issues

This is an on-site role only—virtual/remote options are not available. The school assignment and campus location will be confirmed ahead of start.
