Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in the state or eligibility to obtain one promptly
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued
- Strong assessment, intervention, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs across the K-12 spectrum
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech, language, and communication skills
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for eligible students
- Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
