Looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic team supporting PreK students ages 3-5? A full-time contract assignment is available for a speech-language pathologist (SLP) with their CCC. This onsite position offers the chance to provide essential speech and language services to young learners across several locations.

Requirements for Success:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Current state licensure for speech therapy in Louisiana (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally with preschool/preK populations
  • Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Ability to travel between sites as part of an itinerant model

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to PreK students, ages 3-5, following individualized education plans
  • Conduct assessments, evaluate student progress, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure coordinated student support
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of interventions and outcomes
  • Travel to multiple assigned locations as part of an itinerant caseload
  • Provide consultative services and training for teachers and parents as necessary
  • Uphold professional standards, confidentiality, and positive relationships within each school environment
