Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as an SLP in Wisconsin
- Prior experience in a school-based setting, particularly with elementary-aged students, is highly valued
- Strong knowledge in assessment and intervention strategies for articulation disorders
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and support staff
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations of students with articulation needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to foster student progress
- Provide direct therapy to a caseload of elementary students, focusing on moderate articulation challenges
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation in accordance with school requirements
- Consult with teachers and families to support students’ generalization of speech skills across school settings
- Offer guidance and mentorship to the onsite SLPA, ensuring coordinated interventions and consistent support for students
