Key Qualifications:
- Current certification and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable working with mild to moderate student populations
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and monitoring
- Able to conduct comprehensive evaluations and standardized testing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Perform evaluations and testing to determine student needs and measure progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student development
- Maintain thorough and timely records in compliance with school and federal guidelines
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and required school activities
