Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Experience working within K-12 school environments preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with conducting assessments, evaluations, and writing IEPs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, educators, and families
- Knowledge of current best practices in speech and language intervention
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and document findings
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services for students with mild to moderate speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with general education and special education staff to ensure coordinated support
- Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Communicate progress regularly to families, educators, and other stakeholders
