What We’re Looking For:
- Current SLP-CCC certification
- Active, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred
- Proficiency in conducting speech and language evaluations and assessments
- Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, student-focused approach
What You'll Do:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to kindergarten through high school students with mild to moderate needs
- Assess, evaluate, and diagnose communication disorders; implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings, write and update IEPs, and provide input based on assessment results
- Maintain accurate records, document progress, and communicate regularly with stakeholders
- Provide consultative services and strategies to staff and parents to foster generalization of skills
- Stay current on best practices and comply with school, state, and federal regulations
