School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Kent, Washington

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology required
• Valid or pending Washington state licensure
• Candidates holding SLP-CCC or those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Experience working in schools is a plus, but not required
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and provide tailored therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs across grades K-12
• Maintain accurate documentation for IEPs, progress reports, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s academic and social success
• Participate in IEP meetings and student-focused planning sessions
• Adapt therapy methods to reflect diverse student abilities and backgrounds
