Make a meaningful impact supporting students’ speech and language development in a dynamic school setting near Kent, WA. This contract role is tailored for Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about educational environments, and open to experienced clinicians as well as Clinical Fellows.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across the CSY, ESY, and NSY terms, with consistent hours of 35 per week. Caseload specifics will be provided soon, offering a chance to focus your clinical skills in pediatrics and school-based practice.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Washington State Speech-Language Pathology license (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • Minimum of two years’ experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred
  • Prior Medicaid provider number, CAQH profile, and existing credentialing with other insurance companies required
  • Background in SLP healthcare, school-based speech services, or pediatric speech therapy

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy in individual and group formats
  • Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams on student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including Medicaid/insurance billing and service logs
  • Stay current on best practices and professional standards in pediatric speech-language pathology
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive student learning environment
