Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students in a dynamic educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). We're seeking two dedicated professionals for contract positions near Kent, WA, starting September 2, 2026 through June 17, 2027. Enjoy a collaborative setting where your skills help shape communication and learning success for a caseload of approximately 50 students. Scheduling is typically 37.5 hours weekly, with flexibility between 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM dependent on assignments and meetings. Candidate preference will be considered when assigning age groups and student populations.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in school settings strongly valued
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to manage and document a caseload efficiently
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive educational environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
  • Develop and implement targeted IEPs tailored to individual student needs
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individual and group
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to maximize student progress
  • Maintain confidential and accurate documentation for evaluations, services, and outcomes
  • Participate in IEP meetings and professional development, as required
  • Adapt approaches to accommodate a diverse range of abilities and backgrounds
  • Stay current on best practices within the field
